Summer Courses for High-School and Undergraduate Students
The AEMS Academy offers one-week summer courses for highly motivated high-school and undergraduate students with an aptitude in the sciences and mathematics. Fusion Energy: Taming a Star successfully completed for Summer 2026. Check back for Summer 2027 offerings.
Available Courses
Each course introduces students to a major scientific and technological field through interdisciplinary concepts, real-world applications, and exposure to current research directions.

Limited-seat pricing is available for a select number of applicants. Interested applicants requiring partial financial assistance to facilitate course enrollment are invited to send an explanatory email including the rationale for the request, to aems.uoft “at” gmail.com.

The AEMS Academy, established through the Atomic Energy Materials & Systems nuclear research and education cluster at the University of Toronto, offers educational programs designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of engineers, scientists, and leaders in the highly multidisciplinary field of nuclear science and engineering.
